100T Valorant are playing a different ball game this season. First, they went ahead and re-signed Asuna for this season’s VCT, and surprisingly chose not to add to their roster except Cryocells, as well as release Sam. And now they have created ripples again by releasing a short teaser on Twitter, titled as When Overwatch meets Valorant, sparking rumors of the formation of an Overwatch Team.
Nothing official has so far come from the 100T, however, if rumors are two be believed, then either of the two things is going to happen. Either 100T is going to launch their very own overwatch team that’ll allow them to diversify their influence in the esports arena, or alternatively, it might just be some sort of a merchandising collaboration with the game as a sort of subsidiary to their Valorant roster.

There have been mixed reactions to this announcement, with some 100T fans wanting them to remain only within the Valorant arena while others want to support their team in other tournaments as well. Although nothing definite has been added by the official 100T page, the silence might be an indication that the fans are on the right track and this team indeed wishes to launch an Overwatch team of its own.
There is also a third option, however the most unlikely to happen. In that case, the present 100T roster still has to announce their sixth player and the team might be considering adding an Overwatch Pro among their ranks to bolster their chances with newer and more inclusive tactics in-game.

100T announce their roster for VCT 2023
100T has gone ahead and revealed their entire roster for the upcoming VCT 2023, although they are yet to add their sixth player. The current 100T roster appears like:
- Peter “Asuna” Mazuryk
- Derrek “Derrek” Ha
- Brenden “stellar” McGrath
- Matthew “Cryocells” Panganiban
- Sean “bang” Bezerra
With Seangares stepping down as the head coach to pursue content creation, Mikes will be taking up the role of the new head coach. 100T have retained most of their roster, with Cryocells being the only notable signing to replace Sam who is not an inactive member and searching for a different franchise.
With the deadline for all partnered teams to announce their roster by 31st October and VCT 2023 scheduled to start next year in February, all teams are pushing to fill up their roster. It will be interesting to find out who the 100T add as the final member in their roster.
