HEYBURN, Idaho (CBS2) — One man is dead after a plane crashed into a potato processing plant.
KMVT reports that Heyburn Police were called to the Gem State Processing plant just after 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The plane crashed onto the roof.
According to officials, the Cessna 208 caravan carrying UPS freight was en-route from Salt Lake City and was flying too low while attempting to land at Burley Municipal Airport.
The pilot, who was the only person on board, died in the crash. No employees were injured, according to the report.
The crash is under investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration.
