VALORANT's 24th Agent ISO's Abilities Have Been Revealed

VALORANT’S newest agent, ISO, has his abilities revealed

Riot’s premier FPS VALORANT is close to releasing Act 3 of Episode 7. As hinted before, Riot is releasing a new Agent with the content drop. The new Duelist, ISO, will be joining the ranks alongside fan favorites like Jett, Raze, and Yoru with his own unique abilities.

Riot’s reveal trailer has also teased us about his lore, identity, and what we can expect from the Agent in the game. However, after days of speculating, new information has shown what ISO’s abilities will be. It is safe to say Riot is not holding back on the direction they want to take duelists in the future.

First look at ISO

Riot has released a reveal trailer showcasing ISO’s backstory and how he fits into the lore of the game. ISO is a deadly hitman from China who gets the job done. Rumors of his precision and deadly efficiency scare his targets before he finishes them off with a quick shot.

ISO Abilities

Thanks to some leaks just before release, we have a good idea of what ISO’s abilities will look like and how they will function.

Contingency (C)

EQUIP to assemble prismatic energy. FIRE, to push an indestructible wall of energy forward that blocks bullets

Undercut (Q)

EQUIP a molecular bolt. Fire to throw it forward, applying a brief FRAGILE to all players it touches. The bolt can pass through solid objects, including walls.

Default Ability: Double Tap (E)

START a focus timer. Once completed, enter a flow state, during which downed enemies you kill or damage generate an energy orb. Shooting this orb grants you a shield that absorbs one instance of damage from any source.

Ultimate Ability: Kill Contract (X)

EQUIP an interdimensional arena. FIRE to hurl a column of energy through the battlefield, pulling you and the first enemy hit into the arena. You and your opponent duel to the death.

While in the ultimate arena, you are suppressed. So, it is a raw duel to death with, presumably, the weapons you are already carrying. It supposedly runs for 50 seconds, after which both players will die if no one can get the win.

Riot has decided to focus ISO’s abilities on the very narrow playstyle of a highly skilled duelist, rewarding frags and allowing you the ability to isolate a duel with an opponent. It remains to be seen whether the launch of this agent will go smoothly or not.
